Floral Tree of Life Box

Fair-Trade India
Beautifully crafted in a Fair-Trade cooperative, this hand carved lidded box is made from aromatic shesham wood. Shesham is a soft dark wood that grows in the foothills of northern India.  The box is hand carved by descendants of Persian artisans who settled in the city of Saharanpur, where some 45,000 people depend on shesham wood carving for their livelihood.
