Cast Pewter - Enamel
Unlike the many birds, Blue Jays are highly monogamous. Once the female chooses her mate, the two form a bond for life. An exceptional heirloom quality ornament to display during the holidays or all year round. Hand cast from pewter, the surface is gold plated to create the luminous background. The ornament is then hand painted with glass enamels that are high fired for an enduring finish. Beautifully detailed with Austrian crystal eyes. Perfect for generations of nature lovers.
